Hen and Barley Press Expands Line and Launches New Designs for 2005
hen and barley press, a company that provides note cards, invitations, photo cards and gift cards featuring classic designs with a modern twist, has expanded its product line and launched new designs for 2005.
Whitefish Bay, WI January 18, 2005 -- The ever-popular Cameo Collection and Mod Collection have been expanded to include exciting new color ways, as well as self-adhesive labels, fold over note cards, and invitations for many different occasions. All designs in the Cameo and Mod Collections color coordinate with one another, allowing for exceptional in-store visual merchandising, and are laser and ink jet compatible for in store or at home personalization.
A new collection called AlllInOne - Etiquette Made Easy has also been launched. Wit and style meet in this collection of single flat and fold over cards designed to help busy customers keep up with the demands of social obligations and life. Inspiration for the collection came when Jennifer Morgan, hen and barleys busy owner/designer, and her equally busy friend agreed to declare a moratorium on thank you notes to one another to conserve time. Jennifer then designed and sent to her friend the AllInOne Thank You flat card, which declared her gratitude for anything and everything her friend had done for her within a specified time period (in this case, a year). With its witty sentiment, fill in the blank and multiple choice format, the card was a hit and a collection was born. A Sorry version of the card is also available.
The fold-over cards in the AllInOne Collection are pure genius. Available in Baby, Graduation and Birthday versions, one side of the fold over is a clever gift card, which the gift giver personalizes by filling in the blanks and multiple choice. The other side of the card is an equally clever thank you postcard, which the gift giver addresses to themselves and stamps. The recipient simply fills in the blanks, tears off the postcard at the perforated fold and drops it in the mail. Being grateful (and proper) has never been so easy!
Since making its debut at the National Stationery Show in May 2004, hen and barley press has become available in upscale stores in Florida, Illinois, New Hampshire, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Utah & Wisconsin. Owner Jennifer Morgan is confident about the appeal of hen and barleys new products in the current marketplace, saying, Despite being increasingly busy, customers still want to maintain social connections with grace and style. To make this possible, our products are easy and versatile. Retailers have responded well to hen and barley press because the lines versatility gives them more ways to sell any one product, and customers have responded well because the look is fresh.
